MAMA+mini by Lauren
MAMA+mini was born from both necessity and passion—a reflection of my personal and professional journeys. As a newly single mother, I needed to create financial stability for my family, but I also wanted to build something that truly mattered.
As a neonatal intensive care nurse, I am committed to giving babies the best possible start. I work with families who need guidance, reassurance, and practical support, and love being able to offer that. I witness firsthand the impact that evidence-based practices, like antenatal expressing, can have on a baby’s health. However, I also recognised that many mothers lacked access to the right tools and support to make informed choices.
That’s where the Antenatal Expressing Kits came in—a practical tool designed to empower mothers, giving them the confidence to provide their babies with the best start in life. But this wasn’t just about creating a product; it was about building a supportive community where mothers could feel informed, prepared, and understood.
I realised I could bridge the gap between what I knew professionally and what mothers like me were searching for—reliable, practical, and compassionate support during one of the most vulnerable times of their lives. MAMA+mini became my way to combine my passion for neonatal care with my desire to make a meaningful difference—both for myself and for other mothers like me
